At Light and Tech, we deliver environmentally responsible street lighting solutions through expert-led Environmental Impact Assessments (EIAs). We have supported major LED street lighting schemes, including the Bracknell Forest and Buckinghamshire projects, where our approach minimized ecological disruption and prioritized sustainability. In Buckinghamshire, we pioneered the use of warm colour temperature LEDs and implemented low mounting heights to protect bat corridors.

For S278 schemes and other sensitive developments, we work closely with ecologists to mitigate disruption to wildlife. Our strategies include using 2700K LEDs with low lumen output, maintaining low mounting heights, and recommending ecological enhancements such as hedging. These tailored measures ensure our lighting solutions align with environmental best practices and ethical standards.
